Millones De Amigos is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charitable organization (EIN: 39-3982760) dedicated to helping people and children in need around the world by providing food and economic opportunities. Our tax-exempt status was approved effective August 20, 2025.
3. Donations
3.1 Payment Processing: All donations are processed securely through Stripe, Inc., a third-party payment processor. When you make a donation, you will be redirected to Stripe's secure payment platform or use Stripe's embedded payment interface. By making a donation, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which can be found at https://stripe.com/legal.
3.2 One-Time Donations: One-time donations are processed immediately upon completion of the payment transaction. You will receive a receipt via email confirming your donation.
3.3 Recurring Donations: When you set up a recurring (monthly) donation, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the frequency you selected. You can modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal or by contacting us directly.
3.4 Tax Deductibility: As a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, your donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We recommend consulting with a tax professional regarding the deductibility of your donation. You will receive documentation of your contributions for tax purposes.
3.5 Non-Refundable: All donations are generally non-refundable. However, if you believe an error has occurred with your donation, please contact us immediately, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
4. Use of Donations
Donations to Millones De Amigos support our charitable mission to provide food and economic opportunities to people and children in need around the world. We reserve the right to use donations where they are most needed to fulfill our mission, unless otherwise specified for a particular program or purpose.
5. User Accounts and Login
Our website does not maintain user accounts or login systems. Any account management related to recurring donations is handled through Stripe's Customer Portal. When you access the Customer Portal, you are subject to Stripe's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
